NARRATIVE FUTURE PROJECTION

CONEY ISLAND, BROOKLYN

Along New York's coast, where waters swell,
Climate's touch reshapes where dwell.
Once lowland, now beaches broad,
Sand barriers rise, nature's guard.

Yet floods persist, displacing homes,
Those who stay raise high their domes.
Old meets new in architecture's blend,
City's grid gives way, boundaries bend.

Innovative minds, resilient hearts,
Collect debris, where shoreline parts.
Rebuild with remnants, pieces found,
Community forged on shifting ground.
